I don't think it's a need to have crazy fast NVME's if you're not utilizing its full potential, its like having an overkill pc for 5k and then only wathcing youtube or playing csgo, I mean it get the job done, but is it really worth it? My answer is no, there is no reason to have the best possible speed for an ssd if you're not able to utilize at least 90% of the speed.
