i wonder how many people nowadays have cd players lol

I have an external CD/DVD player from Samsung so I can run CDs on modern laptops.

CDs aren't usually as durable. They say it can store data for 50-100 years, but realistically I'd imagine CDs getting scratched/corrupted by then.

I'm one of the people that can say CDs...
At least 20 years, if stored properly and not used all the time.

Would be curious if it replaces other storage mediums, if they manage to mass produce them.

It won't replace newer usb devices, but, 125 terabytes is quite an achievement. Can be use to store all type of large content.
Let's see if is only CDR or CDRW and fully compatible with older CD players.
