Not sure why, but older games I always remember the graphics being better than they are. 20+ years later, the original model looks like a blowup doll.

This is so true! To think these games had such a big impact on gaming in the 90s (and a pretty small team in the early days).

I suspect there's another big Tomb Raider game on it's way. There's the remaster, plus a release of a confirmed "unified" Lara image (combining Lara's from previous renditions).
