I'm interested in learning website hacking. I'm pretty new to this, but I catch on fast. Right now, I know some basics like DDoS, brute force, and Python.
I'm also working on getting the hang of CSS and .
I've started using tools like BurpSuite and dealing with packet analysis and proxies.
If you have any courses or tips for beginners, or if you could even help me, I'd appreciate it.
(still a beginer)
Thanks for any help you can give.
I'll list what you need to get started and I'll give you the reasons why
programming: to understand how software/systems work, this is a very important detail, as there will come a point when you can create your own malware
computer networks: this is essential from the beginning because you will be dealing with intrusions (maybe in the near future, who knows? it all depends on you) know about network ports, web requests like POST/GET to be able to handle
Linux and BSD: Don't get stuck in Windows with cmd, learn about other operating systems like BSD systems or Linux distributions that force you to use the terminal, so you're always learning new things... imagine hacking a Linux server and you're already did you mess with it? Stupid thing, right?
Information Security Books such as: Hackers exposed, Linux Basics for hackers, books on computer networks, programming, etc.
understand one thing, be thirsty for knowledge, the more knowledge the more power!
