My bad habit is shutting down myself and living on autopilot just to pass time as quickly as possible. Picked it up without realizing it when in highschool to get by as fast as possible to escape physical and verbal abuse from my dad. I never realized it stuck with me until 10 years after leaving the house. Now I am aware when I am getting back into that mode and can correct myself. It's tough but at least I can manage it now.
