I would argue that nobody uses the microwave for it's superior taste/texture when heating food. It's always a time/convenience thing. There's a couple things that are useful to heat in the microwave because foods often retain moisture better in there than in an oven, but it's rare I need that

First thing I think of is Uncle Ben's rice! Though, that's not reheating. Reheating pizza tends to be ok. It doesn't try it out like an oven might.
