You make a great point, people should pay for books. But musicians make crap loads of money if they're good. Due to concerts, autographs, fan wear, etc. I don't believe I should have to pay to listen to them recorded. Yet I still support artists, especially new ones. I can't afford concerts for the big dogs, but when a local band is playing, I love to put a few dollars in their jar.
