They can calm down a bit with releasing new versions and take the time to fix the broken versions.
I'm not saying this is the case, it just feels like they, halfway through the development of one version, give up and release a next version.

Microsoft said they were stopping at Windows 10 - they'd only be releasing upgraded builds on that version.

I was surprised to read Windows 11 was released, and now they're planning on Windows 12. I've read from a reliable source that they've started working on It last month.
