If theres no sex, you might as well just be "friends", intimacy is mandatory for a relationship IMO.
If two people don't keep that "Spark" alive it will slowly stagnate overtime, and grow dull. But then again I'm not one for monogamy either. So I avoid "relationships" like that overall. I usually have multiple people that are comfortable hanging around one another, and know everyone intimate, if they can't adopt that value, then its just not going to work out.
