I recall my IT classes were particularly shocking. I learned how to make a powerpoint at the age of 5, and was still being taught this at the age of 15. It was not up to scratch in that respect!

That's hilarious. Sticking to the same level of education from early childhood/preschool, to the early age of youth.

I'd love to share my thoughts, however I've yet to attend a single minute of schooling In the IT sector.

My experience suggests you're not missing out. Although, I'm aware others have had far better education in the sector.
