20 hours!? I really don't envy the long journeys.

Yes It's certainly a long journey.

Of course, there are many truck stops (eating at diners and a couple of drinks at the pub etc), but It's still quite a long trip.

Although, I think I'd take a driving journey over the high stress I get in my current job.

I definitely agree that driving with good company, helps alleviate stress and anxiety.

I've done many 8 hour trips, and It significantly reduced my tension.
