The question Is, what tasks will you be performing, both now and In the foreseeable future?

There's no purpose purchasing a given laptop If It doesn't accommodate your needs.
I'm looknig for light gaming with smooth browsing. ability to download and run applications like vmware decently. Although it seems like  the kind of laptop i'm getting as a late Christmas gift has been decided.  Do note that it is customizable to my knowledge.
