I suggest scrimba for beginners; especially for learning css grid/flexbox.

Both the archives for download is a webpage where the user just need to click in the drop box, select what he/she is looking for and automatically the program will generate code that when be saved as html with notepad, will execute. All the code works on modern browsers.
