I used dwm for a while but i had an issue with the compsitor or something so I switched to awesome. I think awesome is better because you can script a lot of the things in lua and it just matches what i'd want check it out.
Since I use dmenu & st, I've tried using dwm in the past, but it just takes too much work to configure. And even then, I can't get everything to look right. I just stick to bspwm.
Bspwm is good, I preferred it over i3 and any other window manager.
