Right, that's what I'm confused by. Amazon does not put up lightly with Merchant/Seller abuse of the system, but I'm guessing either a full-blown investigation was conducted or the company simply didn't want to miss out on the revenue.

You're probably right about an Investigation.

Amazon Is worth around 1.7 trillion (and rising by the second), so I don't see why they'd be concerned with missing out on a bit of extra revenue.
