Not that I am being too much of a smart ass but I believe that they still promise the security they are providing though they have become strict and nowadays they are handing over information to authorities to leech off malicious users.

Oh one more thing. Few months ago, mobile OTP doesn't work in my country anymore. I believe that it has to do with tons of scammers and other scumbags using protonmail for illegal transactions or illicit purposes in my country. They are too popular in telegram and discord groups within my country.
