Scotland vs south east or far south west England are very different ball-games. I'd say our weather is relatively predictable, though. There's a fair amount of rainfall but I don't really think of us as a particularly rainy country, despite our reputation xD I suppose it's different when you're used to it. We don't tend to get much severe weather, though.
"I suppose it's different when you're used to it." - this. 100% this. We also have a rep for being a rainy country, but also a cheap country, etc. But it's not always the case xd.

It really depends on the person. If you're the outdoor type, then yes, It's bad. On the other hand, If you enjoy remaining Indoors, It's the Ideal weather.
Love me some rain and thunder. Amazing evening/night vibes. Reading books, watching a movie, laying in bed. Ofcourse it sucks when you have to walk outside with no umbrella or anything, but yeah.
To be fair, a colleague of mine who likes to surf and spend a lot of time at the beach loves the rainy weather. He's basically a walking fish, I think.
I wish I could be a worm so I could crawl around in the dirt all day and not worry about anything.
worms are also similar to fish in many ways except they dont have a brain.
