Now my symptoms seem to align more with ALS, which I never considered before.

But my family won't listen to me. I'm always discounted, and nobody listens to what I have to say. I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm trapped, and have nowhere to go.

You need to go to a doctor, as your family aren't qualified to make that assessment. Bring up your symptoms when you go for an annual physical, if you're able. You aren't an MD, so there's no sense in trying to diagnose yourself.
