Belief in religion, science, or any measure of both, is not much more than that, a belief. Yes science has more basis on what we can actually witness, but there are many elements of science that are later disproven, or change. In that aspect, science itself isn't perfect. Equally, religion cannot explain everything.
My stance is very neutral on the subject.
