Security awareness Is one of the best forms of defense. When the leaks were Identified, they were aware of their vulnerabilities and patched them accordingly- which ultimately strengthened their service as a VPN provider.
As you say. Companies that are able to learn from an experience shouldn't lose customers. What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger.
Your comment killed me, had a good laugh from it. That aside, they've also had their IRC leaked. Goes to show on how these "privacy-focused" services respect users privacy.
