All of these arguments are because Epic Games is suing Apple. Epic Games does not want to pay a 30% fee on in-app-purchases, which both Apple and Google charge developers. This is less of an issue for Android devices, which can sideload their games via .apk files. iPhones on the other hand, are not able to sideload applications.

I'd say Epic Games is well within their right, as 30% is a very high fee for companies that are already monopolistic in nature.

That is a particularly high fee. I wonder if there is a reason for that rate beyond "because we can"?
