It wouldn't surprise me If the virus was weaponized, but the fact Is, we'll never know for sure.

Unfortunately, there haven't been many credible sources to level the accusation. Even the U.S. has researched weaponizing viruses at one point.

If I had to bet, I'd bet it was an animal in a cage.
