Is it true that if you DDoS someone, they have to pay like $10.000 per attack or something?
Ive been DDoSing a former friends company, and have spent like probably a good 100H of total time spent DDoSing him.
Is this going to hurt for him? Or havent I understood properly how DDoS works and what is does?

Waste of time. DDoSing a company with free tools/services multiple times in a row is just gonna toughen their security. You need to go to a real DDoS for hire provider to actually do any sort of damage. These people run botnets and use compromised servers to carry out their attacks. DDoSing is skid shit anyways, and your better off attacking in a different matter.
