Hi everyone! I was wondering if anyone out there knows of an N64 emulator that runs perfectly or at least can tell me what the best out there is. Im a big fan of N64 games from my childhood and homebrewed games in the N64 style/format if you can find them. Also Im waiting on a Nintendo 3DS XL (as a gift) and I was wondering if anyone can tell me of the N64 emulation capabilities of it if you have one or have done some research (I have tried but Im not really finding anything much that is useful). I wanted to get an R4 card for it but I dont know if its worth it for emulation purposes. Anyway, thanx for reading all this *^_^*

Sorry I started doing this last night then might internet cut out.

The best emulator i found for nintendo 64 is Project 64. Go to the link and click download file. After it downloads you have to view in folder and open in 7 zip or something that will unzip the rar. file. You will be able to go to your downloads folder and now see a project 64 folder. Open this and you will see some file, you need to click on the application and your emulator will start. You can move that application to the start menu, this is your Nintendo 64 console.

For games you can go here.. I love Super Smash Brothers and Harvest Moon. After you dowload the roms open your Project 64, go to file, open roms, you might need to find them so remember where you saved them. The emulator is great with changing keys and effects on the game just mess with the settings and you'll figure it out if not just post here I will happily walk you through it. And if anyone(oni?Kirito?w00t?...) knows how to get super smash live over the internet i will gladly beat you all with kirby!

Mine too! I can't forget classics like Super Mario 64 and Killer Instinct Gold though.

Yeah I played Mario 64 like crazy. I was never good at KI though. Combos are too hard for me LOL
