Old thread, but still active.
Basically, we're all responsible and accountable for our actions, Inclusive of our emotional state. The equation Is pretty simple- take control and move forward. Do not allow others to have a negative Impact on your mental state.

Getting offline is something that everyone in the online world should do! At least for some time each week!
Also exercise helps lots.
I dont know about others, but I find that we access too much excess information online, it is quite overwhelming for our brains to handle and it is addicting as hell!
Some times I just have to get off, get some fresh air, clear the head,
And this is not a cure, is just something that helps and maybe even prevents the reach to the limit.

Each illness has its own symptoms, but common signs of mental illness in adults and adolescents can include the following: Excessive worrying or fear. Feeling excessively sad or low. Confused thinking or problems concentrating and learning. These problems now are something normal and we should go to control them to the doctor everytime. I know that some of this isn't covered by insurance and you should be attentive when you buy it and you should ask them if is therapy covered by insurance because many of them don't want to cover it.

I would suggest seeing a counselor, I wish I could be of more help. But if you ever need someone to vent to send me a PM
