I was reading over this thread, and thought it was funny how things go off subject so quickly. I wanted to put my 2 cents in.

If your Homosexual, then more power to you, its not a choice I understand this. That and lets be honest, who knows what a guy likes more then another guy? Or who know what a girl likes more then another girl. This is something that no one can change. My only issue with Homosexuality is not with the act itself, or the mindset, but with some of the self righteous people. What I mean by this is as followed. If we think about it logically what would happen if there were a straight pride parade? It would immediately be shunned and seen as a "hate crime".

Personal experiences' of my own, I personally have the utmost respect for gay people, hell my room mate and best friend has 2 gay fathers, funniest guys in the world. So I would never call anyone a negative word. I Think we all know what word I'm referring to. ( Unless of course its light hearted trash talking in a video game to close friends ) My issue is when people take the term Homosexual and use it as a weapon in a professional setting.

For example, when your co-worker tells the boss you called him a Fa**ot, because he didn't like the fact that you got the promotion he wanted. -_- Again, this has all more to do with the mindset of undesirables then the act of homosexuality. Which again is completely acceptable. ( In my opinion of course )

That's the same argument as why there isn't white pride, male pride or able pride. People have pride over things they're discriminated against or have a disadvantage because of to lighten the situation. I would barely call it self-righteous.

You are absolutely right, I didn't bring that up because for the most part I was trying to stay on topic.

Whats so wrong with taking pride in your race?

Be it Hispanic, Black, Asian or other.

Who say's that I can't celebrate pride in my own race. There's a huge difference in being prideful and proud, then going around being a bigot about the situation.

Hell, if you want to look at it that way, not being able to have a straight pride parade because it has not been discriminated against, wouldn't that in turn be discriminating the thought of something like this though?

I pretty much hang out with a class with quite a few gay people in it twice a week and they're pretty cool. They're the openly gay type of people so it can get a little wierd sometimes but they're really nice people.

They don't judge people since they themselves are homosexual (sort of like most bronies, can't judge wierd people cause we're watching a show of talking horses) so it's nice talking with them.

I think it's completely up to their psychology -- Whether they act the female or the male gender role. That determines who they attract and who they are attracted to. And i personally accept it, you don't decide over how you act & think. It would be interesting to have an opinion from a homosexual person here, do they see themselves as being inferior? they really shouldn't, but when the "rest of us" blame things on them and make them ashamed of their sexual stand, i wouldn't be surprised even if they viewed themselves as inferior.
