Cyberpunk 2077 delayed again #1
https://www.theverge.com/2020/10/27/2153...y-december

Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed again now till December 10th.

I'm totally fine with it, if they need time to polish the game up some more so it's perfect on release, I'm all for that.

I saw a post on social media about it and a lot of people were crying about the delay saying they took time off of work for the release. I'd rather a game come out the way it should and not all buggy like so many other games nowadays. I respect the developers of Cyberpunk 2077 for taking their time with this one. I have high hopes for this game!

I remember when the game was first teased in 2012-2013. I don't think any game has experienced more delays or had less accurate predictions for release. However, delays right now are very excusable since the pandemic has hit lots of developers hard. I've preordered it and I'm happy to wait for a polished product, whether that's 2 months or 2 years from now.

Well damn it's gonna be 2077 by the time this shit is released. I'm glad the five people who play Stadia don't have to bitch about having their release staggered.

The twitter post announcing the decision to delay the release is just 50% pissed people, and 50% people who are just pretending to not be pissed. Their official Discord server is also blowing up as well. And the best part about this is the official Twitter account of Cyberpunk 2077 literally replied to a customer on October 26th, a day before announcing the decision to delay the game, that there would be no more delays. Here's the proof.

After this many delays I expect a whole lot more from the game. I'm not gonna be cancelling my pre-order, but I'm not happy.

It's possible their PR team isn't exactly privy to new information. Either way, people are acting like it's the first time it's been delayed.

Exactly. I was actually expecting another delay with the way things have been especially with the pandemic and all. But yes, I hope it's for sure coming out in December now with no more delays. I can definitely understand the peoples frustration.

It's starting to feel like Half Life 3.

People taking time off and planning their lives around something so unpredictable is silly. It sounds like they've had a lot of obstacles and 2077 isn't the only game being delayed this quarter.

I agree, it's a bit much to revolve your life around a video game imo. Had a gaming friend who took time off for the new wow expansion and apparently that was delayed as well? He was really mad and I was like ummmm okay. I'm not totally sure as I haven't played/followed warcraft in 5+ years.

I really can't understand people who would book the day off for this... Its bloody 2020, year of the pandemic. Anything can happen. Plus, this game has a big history of delays. Common sense applicable.

I agree with you OP and Oni. Much better to wait for the product to be polished. If it had been released, those people complaining about delays, would be complaining about bugs.
