Yes, I'm not suggesting that the updates have a negative Impact In Its entirety, but rather can cause significant Issues at the best of times.

The OP's ongoing problems are a prime example of this.

updates are not only shit for laptop but also for mobile.... i also have asus mobile ...when i buy the mobile pubg was support HD graphic in oreo updates... and was so stable version oreo was but when they gave new update it has many bugs.... thats why i also dont prefer updates...people should learn to manage instead of updating and upading..

I certainly agree, hence I refrain from performing updates entirely.

I haven't updated In 15 years, and all my systems are running at their optimal state- both In functionality and security.

I completely agree. I just wish I was a little more adept at knowing or understanding which updates to install and what not to. If I recall, you select what you need yourself, right?

I haven't performed Windows updates In 15 years, but unless I'm very much mistaken, I don't believe there's a native option to manually select them In Windows 10.

You can however, make your selection through Microsoft Update Catalog for any Windows version & edition.

That why in future i will keep buying 2-3 laptop..but for me all laptop are precious because some kind of love get attached with it..

It's always good to have a few laptops In case of need.

I have 7 all up, so If any lose functionality, the others are readily available.
