From a grabbing link too, you shall be able to detect the ip address. In certain countries, the ip data is not reliable to find exact location. Sure, you can find the vicinity area but finding exact location is really difficult by it.

You can use proper spy tools like mspy, flexispy or create your own but this requires physical access atleast once

yes, i meant without any phishing/grabber link.
For eg. I saw a person giving my full ip address and location on telegram just from a chat which was astonishing for me.
Thats why I asked what he must have done

Why would you even want to do this?

You could convince the user to divulge that information, or find their location through already public information. You could get the user to install an application that is designed to log locations, based on the phone's GPS coordinates. You could get the information through their service provider (billing information/coordinates). All hypothetical, but I doubt you'll manage any of the 3.
