I asked about methodology, this was the reply:


"If you're really a developer like you claim, you'll know anything is possible in software development, so no need to ask the methodology used and their by creating your own. If you're interested, let me know and if not let me know too instead of asking dumb questions. That's how people like you always end up doing business with the wrong people. "

100% Guarantee it was a scam and most likely a virus or trojan .exe to infect you.

Their email address Is not associated with any major online merchants, e-commerce nor social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Linkedin). It seems dedicated to this (scam) service alone.

Real hackers wouldn't be infected anyways, since they wouldn't be using windows.

Linux could be infected with viruses, and it is more vulnerable then windows. But linux can be fixed in a short amount of time, not the slow way as windows is fixed with security patches.

I meant by the fact that not many people use linux and if YOU use it you could be more easily targeted by a virus. That's a fact. I know, that you need to be an idiot to get a virus on linux but still.
