There was a very particular style of DDOS attack just now, it was mitigated.

Dororo just finished, and I happened to have watched it and found it to be good, so I'm here to share it. MAL puts it under the action genre (although MAL also puts Koe no Katachi under the action genre).

I don't have much to say, aside from that, so I'll leave the MAL synopsis (btw it has an 8.42 on MAL):

MyAnimeList Wrote:The greedy samurai lord Daigo Kagemitsu’s land is dying, and he would do anything for power, even renounce Buddha and make a pact with demons. His prayers are answered by 12 demons who grant him the power he desires by aiding his prefecture's growth, but at a price. When Kagemitsu's first son is born, the boy has no limbs, no nose, no eyes, no ears, nor even skin—yet still, he lives.

This child is disposed of in a river and forgotten. But as luck would have it, he is saved by a medicine man who provides him with prosthetics and weapons, allowing for him to survive and fend for himself. The boy lives and grows, and although he cannot see, hear, or feel anything, he must defeat the demons that took him as sacrifice. With the death of each one, he regains a part of himself that is rightfully his. For many years he wanders alone, until one day an orphan boy, Dororo, befriends him. The unlikely pair of castaways now fight for their survival and humanity in an unforgiving, demon-infested world.

There's also an anime from 1969 based upon the same manga, thus having the same story. It's called Dororo to Hyakkimaru but I can't really say anything about it since I haven't watched it.

Yeah I enjoyed watching it, I hadn't watched the original one so I can't say whether it has more or less in the new one.

OK, this has a really cool sounding plot. I might have to drop some of my other animes I was watching for this. I might watch it later when I have time.

This sounds really interesting! Did I only recently come out or have I missed this gem for a while?

Define 'recently'. It only finished a few days ago, so I'd call it recent.

As in, it's been out for 2 years vs only released a few weeks ago xD

This Anime is 🔥. One of the better new gen ones IMO. Actually need to finish it since I fell off from watching it consistently.
Detach from your emotions & see the whole picture.
