I'm just curious how did most of you find out about this forum? I haven't been online in ages and I used to be a prominent member of Social Engineered.net years ago. I just typed in Social Engineering Websites into google and found this place and man am I glad I did! I love it already! I'm just curious as to how the rest of you guys found Sinister and why you chose to stick around?

I think I was in my stage of wanting to be some kind of elite hacker or something when I stumbled upon the site. Even after maturing its still a great community that I'm happy to be a part of.

Take this thread as an example of where I came from lol.

That's insane. I used this site like crazy back in my freshman year in a graphic design class, same boat and everything, I just spent time using SL instead of making it.

That is awesome! Really glad it took off for you. The layout of the site is great and I have to say I really enjoy this forum. A little less active than HF but the quality of the content and the users I have come across is much better here. I have already posted some tutorials and am waiting for a vouch on my Visa Service. I plan to stick around that's for sure! Thanks for having me and hope everyone has a Merry Christmas!

I was looking for combolists. Other forums have this really annoying spoiler thing, making you need to register. and also making registering a pain in the arse. Sinisterly had none of that so i sticked around.

That is one thing that I REALLY love about this site. I can private message as a regular user and use most of the functions without upgrading. I will probably upgrade in the future but for now I enjoy being able to post threads, post links in threads as well as images, send private messages, view content and just be active without it being a pain in the ass. It really is a lot better than other forums I have come across. I am almost certain I will be an active user here for awhile.

Absolutely true. Originally, upgrading didn't have an IRL payment method if I remember correctly. Also, @mothered often does huge NSP giveaways, so keep an eye out for them.

I found SL in a rather amusing way. I was chatting to a friend on skype and they told me they were in a giant group chat with over 25 people in it. I said "that sounds pretty funny to see". So, they invited me to the group chat and signed me up to SL. First and only forum I've been on and will never leave. Very chance meeting.

That is exactly my plan! Once I obtain bronze status with points I will keep that for awhile and then pay for the upgrade for silver. Thanks for the information though!
