Why are you trying to partition the drive?
Just allocate the VHD's capacity during the creation of the VM, do the same with the Ram, then mount the ISO and Install the OS thereafter.

I see.
I was under the Impression you wanted to partition the actual VHD prior to the Installation of the OS. Here's a very good tutorial on how to Install Arch Linux on VirtualBox. It guides you from the Initial setup of the VM, right through to the completion of the OS.
this is my problem from within this link.

If you divide all 3 equally (@ 20GB each), It's more than enough disk space.
There's no Issues with an overkill. Only when there's not enough, are problems experienced.
that is a true statement but when I did it wrong right. I could not login or do anything after I was done trying to install it. So I think I mess up in the root or swap partition.

It's hard to say from my end, exactly what happened on your end.
Start from scratch by creating a new VHD and follow the guide In It's exact form.
If you have some free time right. Can you try to install it by following the same guide and see if you can be successful. I will try to install it again later when after I get a new computer.
