RAM doesn't work #1
And here I am again with hardware questions.. xd

Today I've got 4gb ddr3 ram and put it on slot. I have 2 slots on my motherboard, both rams (4gb ddr3, old and new) fit perfectly and made that "click" sound, but after putting new one computer won't turn on, fan just keeps spinning and that's it. No sounds, no beeps, nothing.

I've tried changing its slot and putting only it but it won't turn on as long as there is new ram plugged in. It only turns on when there is only old ram plugged in.

The one on the left (with longer sticker) is old one, which is working fine and other one is new one which doesn't seem to work. Quality is bad so if you need me to tell you something that may be written there or is small to see just reply below and I'll answer

Difference is that on the back of old one there is nothing, yet back on the new one is same as its front. May that cause the problem?

Name of new ram (on ebay): 4GB PC3-12800 DDR3 1600MHz 240Pin 1.5V CL11 4G RAM DIMM Desktop Computer Memory
Old ram (speecy info): http://prntscr.com/k8kvgn

Hope there is enough information for someone experienced to help me, if there's something I've missed just reply and I'll answer. Sorry if it's something obvious, I'm new to all of this

RE: RAM doesn't work #2
Maybe the ram frequency is different? All I could think of

One that's working (as on the screenshot) has 664.8MHz frequency, yet new one has 1600MHz (as on its title), it's probably what caused the problem :/

Any possibility this can be fixed/changed, or I need to get new one?

Look into your bios if you can tweak the frequencies to match. Otherwise you may have to return the RAM.

Take all the ram out and just put in the new one and tell us if the result is the same.

Place one stick in at a time, attempting to boot each time you do. Its possible one of the sticks is bad.

As I've said in thread I have tried plugging them separately and it won't turn on when only new one is plugged in, the fan just keeps spinning only

Hmmm. No bios at all? Is your motherboard actually compatible with that ram?

It'll still work, but at the lower frequency.

Does the Ram stick work on another PC?
