What's the point in getting one's IP? They're supposed to be public anyway.

Further to @"Ender"'s post above, any Information pertaining to the IP address, will that of the ISP and not the user. The ISP owns the external/public/WAN IP address (not the user), hence It will be their Info collected.

IP addresses are meant to be public, why do you think they are sent to every site that you visit?
