Not fun things to get stung by, but I suppose you're lucky it wasn't a yellowjacket/yellowjacket swarm that got you.

When my dad was In the army In Europe, he got stung by a scorpion and says he's never experienced a pain of that magnitude. The medics there acted quickly and he was fine In no time at all.

Never been stung by wasps or bees. Always managed to kill them first. Wasps have been pretty rampant lately, so I consider myself lucky.

I got stung like 3-4 when i was a kid, but i didnt got stung in like 10 years.
A few friends of mine are actually allergic against wasp stings and they need to use serious medical stuff if they get stung by a wasp.

What I like to do is watch "Brave Wilderness" on YouTube; there is a guy who intends to get stung by many different creatures to see what happens, and it is very interesting to watch.

I have been stung by a wasp in my left eye when I was a little kid. It took around a month for my eye to fully recover.

Once when i was a kid i was walking through this little forest thing and ended up disturbing a wasp hive and ended up with them in my jumper stinging me from all angles it was horrid.

I've been stung a couple times when I was younger by bees and wasps, but haven't been stung in probably the past 5 years

I usually get stung at least a few times a week during the summer, we have bee boxes around the house and even if I smoke the buggers out there's still a good few which want to go after you... no real way around it, but I've got enough of an immunity to stings by this point since it's been fairly normal for years now, so there's no swelling and barely any pain.

Past that, well there's yellowjackets... those things are annoying as hell, it's been a year or so luckily but in the summer around any old wooden stuff they seem to be fond of annoying people. The only other thing I've been stung by to my memory is bullet ants, I remember being on vacation a few years back and disturbed a few of the things - they were about an inch long, and man that was probably one of the more painful things I've felt in my life, as the pain lasted for at least a full day. It's not something I'd recommend unless you're part of a South American tribe where it's required to become a man or whatever it was that the Mawé in Brazil would do...

Btw I just learned wasp and bee are different things. In my language we call wasp as wild bee :o. So I stung by wasps many times
