Anyone have any thoughts on Gears of War: Judgement? I'll share mine.

Being a huge Gears and Epic fan, I was excited for the new Gears release. I was hoping for a remake of Gears 2 with a new campaign and a graphic overhaul. Although I enjoy with friends, I am not at all satisfied with the small community. Of those few amounts of people, it's easy to tell that they are not avid Gears players. I feel as though me and my friends are the only ones that still use the Gnasher; the way the game was meant to be played. Recent updates that have buffed the rifles practically ruined the game, although I am glad they listened to the community about adding the Execution game mode. They are also considering a petition to remove the recent rifle buff which would be amazing, honestly. Luckily, Epic also "patched" two-piecing (melee then shoot) to make it less overpowered. In fact, it puts the two-piecers at a disadvantage.

Rating: 6/10 - Epic really needs to clean up their act. It went downhill when they released Gears 3, and I haven't been impressed with the recent updates.

The campaign was a completely different story. Me and 3 friends beat the campaign 3 times already just because. We have yet to play Aftermath because we got caught up in Execution, but I'm sure it will be just as great. I wish it was longer, but it was interesting to see what happened before.

So tl;dr:

If you were expecting them to bring back a Gears 2 resemblance, then you will be disappointed. If you can get past the overpowered rifles, you can enjoy yourself with friends. Do not play this game alone.

It is a lot different than the other ones. I've been playing since GOW1, and its changed a whole lot. I'm trying to beat the campaign on Hardcore, its kinda hard when you have no one to do it with.
I like how you start off with frags, I liek that. I'm happy because I got the game the first week it came out and I am already lv 40, without v.i.p.
I love GOW seriers, wish more people played it.

Yeah, exactly. Like I said, the majority of the people that are playing it right now didn't play the old Gears. They don't know what a Gnasher is. =\

Gnasher for life. I hate when I say wow I just bodied some dude, and people are like what? Wow. I like it when the games first come out because you play with a bunch of new people who can't wall bounce that good.

They killllllled wall bouncing in this game. I can still do it, but it's so weird with the different characters. And yeah, I know what you mean..But they made the Gnasher pretty terrible. I can't body people anymore, I just scare them and they turn around and body me. =\

Ik, I always use the girl characters, because they seem to get around faster. I'm soooo pissed they don't have wingman.. That was my game mode since GOW2. I always walk up to someone and go to superman them and don't body them, and they turn around and body me. They made the saw'd off way to powerfull, have you played the new mode 'overrun' if you're the medic and you are versing the higher point locus, the one with the sheild, and the scropian (Can't remember there names) you can kill them in 1 hit, its so gay.
Edit: I'm actually a lot better at wall bouncing in this game. I've seen someone who was already re-up'd twice.
