Hello, my name is Ecchi and I'm new to this forum, so I'd like to contribute to the forums. I'm not sure if anyone will need this, but I'll still make it just in case. Well, let's begin!

Introduction~
If you wanted to watch some anime, back in the day you had to wait for it so be made for conventional TV and even that is only for the mainstream anime. Now in the age of technology, you can find pretty much ANY anime online. In this post, I'm going to tell you guys some streaming sites so you can watch your favorite (or soon to be favorite) anime.

Paid Sites: Why?
While you might hate paid sites, most are there for a good reason. For one, you'll be knowing that your watching anime legally. For example, Crunchyroll, a popular paid streaming site for anime, gives a cut of their profits to supporting the anime industry. Even better, many of these sites have free versions, with the main difference of ads. In this section, I'll be sharing a few of those sites.





Crunchyroll~

"Crunchyroll is an American distributor, publisher, and international online community focused on video streaming East Asian media. Crunchyroll offers over 800 anime shows,[2] more than 200 Asian dramas to users, and 50 manga titles"(Wikipedia)

One of the main perks of Crunchyroll is that the site is 100% legal and it has a HUGE selection of anime to choose from. Like I said early, with your subscription to Crunchyroll, it supports the anime industry. (More in info: HERE) You can also watch anime on Crunchyroll without paying but the difference is ads and slower release times.





Funimation~

I personally haven't used Funimation but it seems like it also has a Premium and Free version. It also seems like they are focusing in dubs, unlike Crunchyroll. It also has more of the older shows, like Neon Genesis Evangelion, surprising, unlike Crunchyroll. Some shows are only available to the paying user, which in case if you are looking for a legal, free way of watching anime, I'd recommend Crunchyroll.





Netflix/Hulu~

While Netflix/Hulu has a limited amount of anime, it is focused on normal television. So buying a subscription to Netflix/Hulu for just anime as they are not made for just anime and should only buy if wanting to watch "normal" series and movies.





Daisuki~

I haven't heard much about this one, and I did some research and people are saying that while it does have a great interface and have some popular titles, there are few shows are that there are still some ads, even with paid subscription. If this bothers you, it also requires Flash.





Illegal/Free sites:
While these sites are free, they are most definitely not legal. The upsides of such sites are that they usually have a greater selection of anime to watch. A downside though are ads, but you can, if you want, use some sort of AdBlock.

If you prefer only watching dubbed anime, use this site as it has a ton of it.

This site has quite the catalog looks pretty nice. Some features include: Schedule, good sorting system, and even a request forum. I recommend this site.



KissAnime~

This is the site that I use, and I find it to have more uptime than other sites. This site has quite a few ads and they have a checker for AdBlock, but there is a way around this, which I might post in the future. Anyway, I'd recommend this site to anyone who is looking for some free anime to watch.





GoGoAnime~

This site is pretty much the same as KissAnime, but with a different GUI. This site is sometimes down more than KissAnime but at the very end, I think it's up to how you like the looks of these sites.

Nice thread. I personally go to kissanime. Also tried crunchyroll before, but some animes aren't available in my country. Infact a lot are unavailable.

All those are pretty good sites I use most of them, but for illegal sites maybe put dubbed anime I've used that site quite a lot when watching anime.

Personally I use 9Anime or KissAnime.
Used to use crunchy roll, but the limited selection kind of bothered me.

Same here, I used to only use Crunchyroll so I know what episode I was one and the fact that there is an app, but now I just use KissAnime.
