This article What a Studio Ghibli Veteran Taught Me about Animation, was pretty interesting!
As consumers, we comment a lot on style and how good a show looks. This article talks about what it's like for people behind the scenes. While I love drawing, I doubt I would ever want to do this job based on the demands, even if I had excellent manga drawing skills! One of the other things this article talks about it how animation is made. I had assumed more of the early drawing processes would occur digitally, but it seems I was wrong there.
The main part of the article talks about Hitomi Tateno, the Studio Ghibli veteran, who gave a seminar where the audience participated in attempting to draw in-between frames for a simple animation sequence. It would have been pretty cool to be in that audience.
