There was a very particular style of DDOS attack just now, it was mitigated.

Aeolian Scam Report #1
So as you all know, aeolian owes me 130$ in btc... And I have yet to receive this money... Aeolian just messages me saying he is "working on it" when he is obviously not...
I hope @oni wont just let his mods scam freely...

RE: Aeolian Scam Report #2
really? that's unexpected! I thought he would have paid you back by now. I'm sorry you haven't got your money back man. I hope he does the right thing.

RE: Aeolian Scam Report #3
Hm...
Sorry Aeolian but you look like the bad guy here. You did promise you would get him money, and even though you are unable to, you are still in debt.
Hope you can get this resolved soon.
Who Knows?

RE: Aeolian Scam Report #4
Not trying to pick sides, but who do you honestly think most people will believe: a mod who's been here for over a year (and currently the most active user on the site) or some dude who's been here for around 3 months?
Even so, he's still in contact with you. Simply the fact that he hasn't fucked off and left you in the dark should mean something, no?

It's often the outcasts, the iconoclasts ... those who have the least to lose because they
don't have much in the first place, who feel the new currents and ride them the farthest.

Uhm...this is not a logical reply.
Also you are picking sides regardless of if you're trying to or not.

So are you saying that once people become mods, they can scammerino?

How is it illogical? I'm saying that from the perspective of most third parties (i.e. everyone that isn't pilot or Aeolian), Aeolian is more trusted.
I'm also not implying that mods have more leeway to break rules. If anything, we have far less than anyone else.

This isn't exactly about trust. @'Aeolian' has already admitted what happened.

So I can just not pay you. And keep talking like nothing happened and I won't look suspicious?

Playing both sides here. I feel like areola isn't a scammer. But with what we have at our disposal, it sure does look like it. Even if he doesn't intend to.

First,
Don't put words in people's mouth. (By claiming one member is more trusted than the rest by other people's perspective when in fact that is your assumptious opinion.)
Second,
Being scammed isn't a matter of majority rule so what the majority thinks doesn't matter.
Third,
I'm not sure if you're aware of the situation, but Aeolian has admitted to not having P1L0T's money in previous times.
Third point five, if you aren't aware of the previous situation and are posting just to post, then I don't even know why anyone's replying to you.
Fourth,
When you said Aeolian hasn't "fucked off and left (P1L0T) in the dark", you're implying that he is only defined as a scammer if he "fucks off". In other words, if he never pays Pilot back, but doesn't fuck off either...then he's in the clear. Those are your words and your implications.
Fifth,
What the heck does activity and tenure have to do with the legitimacy of a financial transaction?
Sixth,
Still in contact doesn't mean anything. I could scam $5000 and still send you messages every day about how I'll get you back until I die. Maybe in my will. Does that change the situation? If it does, then please lend me $5000. I'll try and pay you back. I promise. One day.
SEVENTH!
Refer to aforementioned points for correlation of illogic.

RE: Aeolian Scam Report #10
I have nothing against Aeolian and according to @Inori I should trust him more because he's an active member and has been here for over a year. Despite this deal dispute.

I think this is unfair to Pilot.

If he didn't get the money the day of the transaction, a scam is a scam.

Why someone doesn't have money to pay back or if they have issues on their end are considered personal problems.

You don't raise personal problems to the IRS when they audit you.
