today we are 12/1/2017 well it counts posts from 12/12/2017
tomorrow it will remove posts of 12/12 and add posts of 13/1

As It stands, It's calculated on a month-by-month basis, and not a calendar month.

I do agree though, that It should be from the beginning to the end of each month.
