He should have had his licence revoked. As soon as you go to the FBI claiming you can hear voices telling you to watch ISIS propaganda... You shouldn't be allowed access to a gun. I don't say that as somebody who thinks all guns should be banned, I say that because he just as easily could have shot himself. He essentially told people he's not safe, and yet he was able to put a gun and ammo in a checked bag.

True, but it isn't really about the airport setting at all, I mean a random person could just walk in with a gun to the airport and shot people like he did

It's not the airports fault at all, they followed policy, and did their job of getting as many people as they could to safety, with proper emergency planning and execution.

My comment was more about his access to something that could cause harm, when he already highlighted that he was a danger. There's a reason a lot of the national news hitting shooting stories mention mental illness. It's not usually the average joe who starts shooting up a place.

Didn't that guy say he was forced to watch ISIS propaganda or something like there's a conspiracy to build a radical profile against him? There were a lot of reports saying he was delusional.
