fix the alignment functions on editor #1
On the editor at the moment, if I wrap my text within some align code (using the align buttons). Then later decide to align it otherwise, the align tag wraps around the existing tag. It's pretty stupid, why not replace the existing align tag instead?

Pretty sure that's how stock MyBB is supposed to function. You're not supposed to pick 2 types of alignment, as far as I know.

Why not simply replace the existing tag manually?

It's almost just as quick and gets the job done without hassle.

It would take maybe 5 seconds to delete the hide tags. It isn't worth changing it. Usually you get it righ from the first time, or at least I do.
