I figured this question was fairly relevant, as The Force Awakens isn't all that old yet and new movies are coming out all over the place. So who like Star Wars here? (Actually, this thread is more to spark conversation, as this place is dead and I am bored.)

Just the movies? Did you have any interest in Legends while it was still canon and/or do you have any interest in the canon content aside from the movies these days? (I for one hope they bring back Revan and Abeloth again.)

I only really knew about the movies just kinda caught I glimpse of them and thought meh. I played some star wars games though.

Legends (which was previously known as Expanded Universe) had a lot of great tales in them. Nothing like seeing bloody wars between the Sith and Jedi, and Sith that had the power to warp time/space or drain entire planets of their life force. (Characters like General Thrawn was also amazing, and he is coming back in Rebels so that is something.) The movies became the weakest links of the franchise, something most can agree with. The material that exist outside of those however, are both well made and very interesting.

I used to be a HUGE star wars fan. The newest movie was absolutely terrible imho though.
