If you haven't seen the film, it's when crime is legal for 12 hours and any public services aren't available. They say that purging will cleanse you from hate.

I wouldn't purge. I don't see how it really helps. I would just go on a holiday to avoid it.

Not to cleanse myself from hate but because I'd be a very rich man from my actions that night. Anybody doing it to harm people, especially ones that don't truly deserve it will be going about it all wrong. Just think of the things you could steal that could set you up for life. I'm not entirely sure how it would work but lets say you went to a car dealer ship, a Ferrari one and you took 20 cars that night and sold them all the next day at 50% off for a quick sale lmao, you'd have millions in the bank.
