Indeed they do, we'll be fine on our own and I'm pretty sure some other countries are trying to call for referendums now as well.
I'm waiting for the egg on the leave campaigners face when the EU tell us we need to keep free movement in order to strike a trade deal.

People are being stupidly short sighted, the pound fell in value by 15% in under a day, the biggest drop since like the 80s, but this is expected no one is going invest when we have just left. People underestimate the fact that we are one the biggest economies in the world (depending if you measure GDP or PPP) and that we have sold financial services across the globe for years, most is with the EU, so if they want to just stop having deals with us then we will both suffer, but the EU will suffer more from lack of financial services and Greece draining all their funds and then countries will leave, so I doubt they'll cut off all trade ties. So eventually the UK will get back up and the pound will increase again

The EU wouldn't suffer more 46% of our trade was with the EU which means we will lose half our business if we don't trade within the EU and if we don't then it will be damaged from tariffs for trading in the EU. What trading goes on in the EU from the UK is less than 25% so we will stand to lose more than the EU if we no longer trade with them.

The EU would suffer, the leave campaign loved to throw out the fact that the majority of trade was with the EU, but they forgot to mention that the EU relies on that trade, so it would be their loss if we left in the long run. Also 25% is not much, but the UK produces luxury and high quality goods, so the EU would be stuck with inefficient rubbish compared to what we trade
