Oh but I have, hence the constructive feedback regarding it. Find me an artist who cannot give a specific thought behind their work, as in art they always have or settle upon a special thought. That is how we separate art based on generations. Mixing them together is incredible hard, to the point where its near impossible, actual to the point where no one has managed to do it properly yet so we don't even know if it is possible. There are artists who have found their own styles, sure, but no one has mixed 3 or more styles together properly before.

If this wasn't made as art, but as design on the other hand. Then it falls short there as well, as it has no clear use and design is first and foremost made to be used.

The design appears at some places to be inspired by "Art Deco" while on others it seems to fall more towards the victorian age, and in the middle top area it falls towards modern style again. While art doesn't need to a specific style, then each generation of art follows a specific concept or back thought. So when you mix them across the board, it looks and feels like a mess. While the hand work is well done, the thought progress is falling short. The lack of depth is also bothersome, it has no flow to it.

Certain places appear to be over, while the same object falls under the same thing its over on the same layer.

Good to hear some other opinions, thank you.
I didn't really have anything in there inspired from 1920's, but some from the baroque/victorian yeah.
There was things I felt was wrong with all of it, and thanks to you I can finally put my finger on it. Smile
This is my own style that I just make on impulse.

I tried removing the denser stuff and background pattern as it was bothersome and made the parts feel heavy.
Going to try re-do the semi-dense swirly areas to make it go better with the spaced areas around.
Keeping one part of it though http://i.imgur.com/lhgeIQ0.png

I am also working on getting it ready for the setting, so I am getting closer to making a final product now.
Still need to re-work parts of he footer thingy as it still feels a bit heavy compared to the top, not sure yet.
There is content in the top part that I have taken out, while little in the bottom, so it might balance out
when that is in place.
