So I'm In college at the moment and you have to complete units about 9 I think.  Anyway I'm basically finished all of them just one to go and all I have left is the feedback if they are done or not.  So I have feedback for some of my units which were all merits.  After you get your feedback they go to someone from the board of education to see if it was correct or not.
Sadly I got told I basically need to redo most of my work even though my teacher said it was all done.
Looks like I'm stuck there for longer then I expected =(

Do you live in America or UK? It sounds like you are on a BTEC course. Not sure if they are available in America, but what you are doing sounds similar to what I did in college, currently in university now. If it is the same thing I had 39 units. It gets easier man do not worry, you'll be able to push through it.

Yeah completely right btec course in UK on IT, it's not that it's hard like I can do all the work, it's just written work has to be so specific.

Yeah the work is easy, but it does involve you doing a lot of writing. What is your course specifically? Sadly my course was very broad. It came under "Extended Diploma Level 3 IT and Business Studies", which isn't what I wanted at all. But it did involve some units I enjoyed such as programming, web development, analog vs digital. I am now doing Computer Security in university. Do you think you'll end up going to university?

Yeah my course is very broad aswell I would of preferred doing a more specific course for like Web development. But you don't get what you want unless you do well in exams I guess. Also I doubt I would want to go to university. I still am not sure what I want to do next year to be honest.

Especially when I asked her multiple times if it was definitely completed and she said yes....

That like the only reason I prefer A level over btec is that there's like no coursework or anything, you just do an exam paper and that's it

Yeah it seems lots of the IT courses are much more broad than advertised. If you are not sure about university, I would suggest having a gap year. Either use that gap year to work, learn more or lounge around and think. When you finish college you technically start you life. It can be quite daunting if you are not prepared.

I guess everyone has different skills. I personally am not a large fan of exams. Although I will do them if necessary, which is it currently is in university. I had three this year just gone so it was not that bad. I had much more coursework than I did exams, which honestly did surprise me.

That sounds pretty shit man. My cousin one time had to re-do his coursework as his teacher lost it. I'd go mad.

I had to redo a graph in biology for coursework cause she lost it, but one kid had his work printed, lost it, and his files were corrupt or some shit on the school PC so he couldn't open and print it xD
