I haven't liked Hilary for a long time now, Bernie just knows what he's talking about and he's speaking the truth.

Bernie is another story. As a person he's a wonderful guy, true heart, beautiful human being however his policies aren't realistic in the sense that they'll make America "better". First I'll start with healthcare, it introduces a government controlled healthcare system that economists estimate will cost the average American tax payer 14% (more) on there taxes. Bernie defends this by saying that we'll still be spending less than you would if you where paying the premiums from "private" healthcare companies but statistics show that around 70% of working class homes can expect to pay more than they did previously. With that being said he thinks he can cut the estimate down by making pharmaceutical companies lower the cost of drugs but even if you could do this (pharmaceutical companies play by their own rules) this would only cut the spending (at most) by 10% which would still mean we're spending more money than the rest of the world.
Now onto "Free Tuition", this is probably the biggest selling point in his campaign because the thought of graduating college debt free sounds amazing and is a GREAT way to get young people to rally for you. Bernie believes by implementing this system we can once again lead the world in percentage of college graduates however statistics gathered from countries that have free tuition (and those that don't) show that just because you offer free college doesn't mean everyone's going to take it. The world leaders in most people educated goes to "South Korea", "Japan", and "Canada" all of which do not offer free tuition. The countries that do like Sweden and Norway are only beating us by 0% to 2%. Now moving on to how he plans to pay for this. Basically he plans on making the rich people pay for it, aka wall street, hedge funds, investment housing, and other firms. This sounds great but how do you plan on making them comply? I mean seriously this has been said so many times and no one has been able to do a thing, wall street is extremely powerful, they (just like other wealthy corporations) "purchase" (fund there campaign) public officials to lobby on there behalf, the president doesn't have as much power as people believe, our country lives off the backs of the rich. The last thing I'd like to point out is that with college being ran by the government they'd have the ability to run it the way they want, do you really want to allow them to pick and choose what's being taught? If we give them full reign they have the ability to rewrite history for future generations (even more so) as they did ours.
