Views on piracy? 04-22-2016, 05:43 PM

I was just wondering what other people's views on piracy are. Personally I hate it, I think people who design something and need or even want to monetize their own work should not have to deal with people who will incorrectly use it purely because it's seen as a free resource for them.

I don't like it. I mean, I watch pirated movies etc. but using someone elses work and getting money off it is wrong.

I don't really care about it tbh, it's better for everyone when it's free.

I genuinely can't remember the last time I paid for a movie.

I pay for movies every now and then, but im ehh when it comes to piracy. It can be used for good and bad. I was reading a thread on Reddit, and a college student was talking about how he needed software, but he was to busy with school, and needed to pay rent and such. So piracy was good in his situation, but if you can afford a procuct, movie, ect I think you should just buy it.
